The Los Angeles Union Background Actors Award’s purpose is to celebrate the art, the professionalism and the necessity of Background Acting. We honor the people in Los Angeles who work full time as Union Background Actors, Stand-ins and Photo Doubles, as well as those who promote Background Acting as a career. Not affiliated with Sag-Aftra or Sag Awards

 

 

Nominees are submitted by Casting Directors, Assistant Directors and other Background Actors. Final nominees and voting is done by a committee of professional Background Actors who average over 20 years experience in the Background Acting community and Acting community.
